About the Artist
Hello, I’m Robert E. Rodriguez, a modern abstract painter based in Palm Springs, California. I create original, large-scale works for residential, hospitality, and corporate spaces across the United States, with a focus on custom commissions and site-specific pieces.
My work is defined by bold, graphic compositions that draw influence from Mid-Century Modern design and 1980s New York street art. I specialize in high-contrast black-and-white abstractions that emphasize movement, rhythm, and spatial balance—designed to integrate seamlessly into contemporary interiors while making a strong visual statement.
I collaborate with interior designers, collectors, and property owners who are seeking original, statement-level artwork tailored to their environment. Each commission is developed through a process that prioritizes creative direction, scale, and context to ensure the final piece aligns with both the space and the client’s vision.
In addition to traditional canvas work, I am exploring the integration of augmented reality to expand how artwork can be experienced, adding an interactive dimension to physical pieces.
